Xmas 08'

Suppose to be meeting with the usual clique at the usual place for the usual meal ending up doing the usual thing but our ever busy cl can't make it so there's a change of plans :(

Met up with dear instead to spend our first christmas eve together :D

Had a really heavy meal at ajisen, followed by a shopping session and getting a log cake home lol..

Back from genting~

Yippeee~ Just got back from the genting trip...

Its been enjoyable but guessed won't be going back there in the near future, lets spend the money on traveling to new places :D

This trip won't be a success with our trip leader xuan! (though she kept threatening us haha :p) and the supporters which is the rest of us!! Haha.. Thanks dear for accompanying me :)
Come to think of it this trip wasn't really engaging, seems like we're all living in our own world..hope we didn't leave anyone out =)..

A test of my memory...

Day 1

We went to Maarybrown for lunch and checked in. The hotel room was quite good for the price we are paying not forgetting its first world. After checking out the room we went to explore the mall and had pizzas for dinner, followed by casino where we played the French Boule... its fun! haha.. especially when it comes to seeing which has the highest probability of winning, i should have pay more attention to the probability lesson last time! lol..

Day 2

We had the free breakfast buffet, the food is barely edible and the setting is like canteen -.-"

After breakfast we went to buy the theme park tix and headed off to queue for our rides! The queues were super long, we spent an average of 30 mins on every ride. One of the most memorable ride is the viking, we spotted an ah pek playing, he's so cool! Waving and smiling lol..

Day 3

Wq and i decided not to join the early birds for breakfast, just pack our stuff and check out. We walked around and stopped over at a vietnamese restaurant for our brunch.. First time trying vietnam dish.. of all i love the fried rice most!.. the vietnam spring roll is perfect for those who feel sinful after a meaty meal. And the rest went to take the cable car ride.. arghh..

It was a fun trip, had a great time taking tons of photos with stupid faces haha :p and so who's the next to be my connecting room neighbour?! Haha ;p

First day doing home surveys, a lucky one indeed!
- Nice weather
- An uncle was about to leave his place and i got hold of him.. mwhaha..
- When i was about to leave my card at the door, the owner came home..
- Was knocking at a door for quite sometime to realise i got the wrong unit.. Haha.. then i went to the right one this time, and i saw one of my ex. colleague, from SCS call centre, Christine, such a coincidence~ she couldn't recognise me at first though hahah..

Interviewed a quite anti gov* hokkien speaking uncle, with my 20% hokkien, 30% teochew, 10% cantonese, 40% chinese.. haha, its like speaking indian to a chinese.. I'm sure he doesn't know what i'm talking.. Haha..

Me: Uncle, li eh ming zhi si si mi? (wads your name)
Uncle: I'm not going to tell you, tell your superior that..
Me: Then, li tak gua gui? (high qualification?)
Uncle: Bo tak chek lah, people last time where got money to study?
Me: Hai lor Hai lor.. Hor liao uncle, survey zhor hor liao, xie xie ni de xi gang~

Lol, my progress was said to be slow.. maybe i gave myself too much freedom le, but i'm trying not to have a stressful holiday hee..

Man or beast?

Recalling stuffs i did for the past 2 weeks...

Lots of time had been wasted on watching TV, and using com, nothing productive had been done, but yet its quite enjoyable at times :s. Sometimes want to go cycling yet too lazy to step out of house.. haha, it'll be more enjoyable with companies.. CCKers and GBers, lets meet up to cycle tog soon =)

For the past few days, i've been reading up on true crime stories and am terribly disgusted by some of the stories. Some killed for the sake of money, sex and some for nothing. To them, life is like peanuts... I wonder how some can treat their love ones so cruelly..

One case that couldn't get out of my head would be about this cannibal. He's seriously sick.. I forgot the name of the murderer but, here's a lil' to share:

There was this guy that posted a thread in forum to seek for volunteers to be victim of the cannibal act. And soon one man replied and consented to it. So they partied and did some disgusting acts, the victim ate sleeping pills and drank lots of alcohol.

The murderer then proceed on to cut of the victim's vital organ for carrying on the family line and they ate them together -.-.. cooked in pepper and salt.. This continues on till the victim bled to death and the murderer stored the guy's flesh for the next 10 months as his meal..

The murderer was caught and sentenced to life imprisonment, there were lots of controversy, since the victim volunteered himself but the prosecution was made on the ground that the victim is under the influence of drug and alcohol..

I think the murderer became a vegetarian..

But of course, the world is filled with beautiful things too =) Its the sagi season! A season where all the friendly and smart sagi celebrate their birthday!

First is Jolene's!
We went for her fairytale celebration on the 30th Nov at aloha, kind of far so we left quite early =x.. Its like a lil 4e3 reunion but we didn't mingle much with our ex classmates :s... Happy 21st Jolene, may you stay pretty and blessed =)

Second will be Qiong Xia!

Met up with MQ to go down together and meet up with Ben, Shirley and Andrew to the chalet at Chevron. When we stepped in, the pretty bd gal showed up, with close to 20 people inside.. Haha.. Due to the crowd phobia and antisocialism in us, we decided to sit by the pool, accompanied by light drizzles, food and we waited for Eunice, zn and sw to come..

Quite an interesting party, we sat at the stairs, most watching nyonya, some were chatting.. Of course the best part is the present opening ceremony! cos me and ben got to get our share too :D haha.. Thanks alot 7-11 for the bag and the thai souvenior =), hope ben will like the present too, and qx got no choice, you have to like the moisturiser especially, cos my mum spent a hard time wrapping it haha...

Had dinner celebration at MOF, ahaa, visited there 2nd time in that week, i prefer the bugis one though..

Nice food with nice companies =) but a flu bug tagged along with me -.-, its a day of receiving.. Thanks to the kindess of wl, xuan and I managed to get vouchers :), haha!

先甜后苦..
First 3 weeks of hol is pure relaxation and rotting...
Next 3 weeks, would be dedicated to doing surveys again! Hehe.. Something that i've been doing
前年的今天, 去年的今天, 今年的今天...

Partly because 做生不如做熟 (hard to find 1 mth job too ) , more due to the money and mostly is the freedom that is given, cos i dun like the feeling of getting supervise in the office (guess no one does).. And the price to pay is to sweat, sweat, sweat.. At last i'm exercising :)

7 more hours to the training and i'm feeling low :s, dread the feeling of getting hundreds of new cases to settle, but again these are $$ :D.. lol, hope this time be as smooth and let me complete the assignment soon hehe.. But yet dun wan sch to start so soon... Contradicting :x

9 more days to our first overseas trip! :)

无风不起浪, there's some 风 these days.. Haha, shud use 万精油.. *Poot* 的一声 就舒服多了 :p .. But it takes a great deal of effort to find the "万精油".. An effort of 2 =)
Maybe i should apply the law of attraction, but i'm only halfway through the book, haha, so.. yup, i've not mastered the trick totally yet.. :s Gotta learn to think the smart way! ~
